If I was an artist….
I’d make sure that my song is mastered before I send it to the DJS and labels
I’d make sure that my music is at least at 192kbps if I send an MP3(320 would be the perfect one)
I’d tag and label (Artist name – Song title) my music before sending it
I’d buy a premium account (mediafire,sendspace, etc…) to have direct link to my music to make it easier for the person I’m sending my music too
I’d have some nice pictures for my visuals and covers
I’d promote myself as much as I can
I won’t say everywhere that I’m the hottest in my market because if you are hot you don’t need to say it
I’dn’t be afraid to use money for MY promotion
Wait a minute…. why am I writing all that shit? I’m not an artist , I’m a DJ! Please forgive me… forget about everything I wrote but if you could use some of them , I think that some DJS especially will be happy, FYI If you wanna tag your music (that makes it easier for US DJS when it’s about tracking your music) you can download this free software MP3TAG it’s easy to use and free , what do you want more?
